I just wanted to extend an invitation to the readers of my blog here (mostly family and friends, although for whatever weird reason I keep getting repeat readers from Russia?!) to check out my related blog, "Finding a New 'Gluten-Free Me'". To get there, click on my profile link from this blog (on your right hand side of the screen, by our photo) and click on the link to my other blog.
It's been invaluable for me to express myself when it comes to the issues I've faced with my diagnosis. I've had periods of joy, relief, frustration, anger, and depression when it comes to this new life and this diagnosis. I know that things could be so much worse and I know I'm very lucky that they're not as bad as they could be, even compared to others with celiac disease, but it's still been hard. Especially with no support system here in Italia.
Anyway, if you want to read, you are welcomed and invited as I don't think I should feel ashamed or try to hide these problems. If not, that's okay too.
And everyday, I try to move forward, just like everybody else. I think that's the most important thing. :)
