Ahh! Veteran's Day is next Monday and I have a four-day weekend... What to do?!
Last minute I'm trying to throw a trip together, either alone or tagging along with a friend, but I'm not sure where yet. It must be cheap - all of my money is currently being spent on Christmas gifts or being saved for the US trip. I'll live frugally and eat squash all weekend if I have to!
Poor D won't be going - he's only got a three-day weekend and while he'd be willing to go, he's seemed supportive of my giving him the house all weekend to vegetate and play Super Mario Bros. and some fighter jet shoot-'em-up game on the Wii in his jams...
So it's up to me! The train to Florence takes approx. three hours and it's super cheap. I'll keep you posted!
